Debo haber escuchado por primera vez Genius of Love de Tom Tom Club por ahí del 82, seguramente en alguna estación poblana que sintonizaba en las noches, cuando la estación local en Huajuapan dejaba de transmitir y podía entonces escuchar algo más moderno que Leo Dan...Nunca supe cómo se llamaba ni quién la interpretaba y años depués la escuche como fondo en una canción de Mariah Carey pero nadie supo darme mayores datos.
