La primera vez que escuché este canción, fue en la entrada de la serie de televisión La Zona Muerta (The Dead Zone), que está basada o mejor dicho, inspirada en la novela homónima de Stephen King, que dicho sea de paso, me encantó.
En cuanto a la melodía, durante mucho tiempo sólo la podía disfrutar brevemente cuando veía el programa en cuestión, pero ahora gracias a la red no sólo me entero que se titula New Year's Prayer sino también que lamentablemente su autor e intérprete, Jeff Buckley, murió en en 1997, apenas a los 31 años.
New Year Year's Prayer salió en el disco póstumo Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk de 1998. Se las dejo, esperando que les guste tanto como a mí.
